Janet was raised in Flin Flon, the eldest of seven children but has spent all her adult life in Winnipeg, where she was regional controller for Keg Restaurants (10 years) and controller for Athlete’s Wear Sporting Goods (8 years). She graduated the CGA program in 1983 an joined Dog Stephen & Jim Armstrong in WOW Hospitality Concepts in 1995. She is married to Ken and has two grown children and four grandchildren who are all now young adults.
Her daughter is a teacher and is married with two children. Her son, Bob, an actor/musician worked in the business side of the operation for several years and while doing that used his artistic side to write and direct several successful productions for the company; He recently accepted the position of Artistic Director for the Dinner Theatres where he will be responsible for the overall production of the five dinner theatre shows done in the three theatres as well as the five Jubilations Junior shows that run on several Saturdays throughout the year in the two Alberta theatres. He can still be found playing piano in Aussie Rules from time to time. He is married with two children.
Doug returned to Winnipeg in 1981 and has resided here for the past 37 years. Doug has six grown children in a blended family with his wife Kerri. During Doug’s time in Winnipeg, he was a Joint Venture and Area partner for Keg Restaurants, a Franchise of The Old Spaghetti Factory and in 1995 he founded and is president of WOW Hospitality Concepts.
In 2000, Doug brought Janet Cunningham and Jim Armstrong on as partners in WOW, which either owns, partners or manages 11 Hospitality Concepts in two provinces. Doug and Janet are also the General Partners of their Dinner Theatres in Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton.
Concepts currently under the WOW umbrella are 529 Steakhouse, Peasant Cookery, Celebrations Dinner Theatre, Jubilations Dinner Theatres in Calgary and Edmonton, Aussie Rules Piano Bar, Carne Italian Chophouse and Prairie’s Edge as well as WOW Catering.
For over 25 years Randy has served as the Artistic Director for Celebrations and Jubilations dinner theatre’s in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary, performing as writer on many productions and director of the vast majority.
Over his years in the Canadian arts, Randy has worked in many theatres across Canada as a Producer, Technician, Stage Manager, Writer, Actor, Singer, Musician, Artistic Director and Director. He is now very happy and excited to take on the new role as General Manager of Celebrations Dinner Theatre.
(Bit of trivia – Randy was born and raised in Moose Jaw Sask. which is why there has always been a Moose Jaw mention in our shows.)

Brent was born and raised in Carman, Manitoba where is love for theatre and music was evident at an early age. After starting his professional theatre career at Rainbow Stage in Winnipeg, Brent became a part of the Celebrations family in 1993. Brent is graduate of George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and his acting career has taken him to almost every major city in Canada over the past 17 years. A love for theatre and craft makes stage managing at Celebrations a perfect fit for Brent right now and he looks forward to the opportunity to be a positive influence on the production side of the shows here at our amazing theatre in Winnipeg.
