Shreck – Ken Rudderham
What are you doing in my swamp?! A social worker by day, Extended Education Instructor by night, and now a big, smelly ogre on the weekends! I am very grateful to once again have the opportunity to reunite with old friends (and new) and have some fun with you and your family in a place that is very near and dear to my heart. Celebrations was my home away from home for many years and last year I was thrilled to return as The Joker in Despicable Moi, and most recently as Buzz in A Toy Story’s Birthday. A big thank you to my lovely wife Tiffany, and our amazing daughters Emily and Arwyn for sharing Dad for a few hours on the weekends with our fantastic audience! A huge thank you to you, our audience, for introducing the next generation to the magic that is live theatre! Enjoy the show and then get out of my swamp!
Fiona – Lisa Cranwill
Lisa is excited to be back on the Celebrations stage after a 15-year break being a mom. She’s dusted off her vocal cords, shaken the rust off of her dancing feet and brushed away the cobwebs in the script memorizing part of the brain. Lisa couldn’t be happier to have her first foray back onstage with a couple of longtime friends in Ken and Gillian. Thanks so much to Kevin, Anison and Leila for letting her play again.
Lord F – Jeff Rivet
Good afternoon citizens of Duloc. My given name is Jeff and I moved to this great Kingdom of Winnipeg 5 years ago. At this Theatre of Celebrations and Dinner, I have performed in 13 shows (that’s a lot!). Schipp’s Creek, The Big Boom Theory, and Jailhouse Rock being some of them. You may have also seen me at the Stage of Rainbows. I was in The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella, and will be in The Little Mermaid this very summer. I was most recently in the Canadian premiere of the Prom. I’d like to thank his court of family, friends, and my kitty cats, Gigi and Jackson.
Donkey – Gillian Moon
Gillian is thrilled to be returning to the Celebrations stage after a brief hiatus to run away with the circus. As a multidisciplinary artist, Gillian has toured North America with Koba Entertainment, the Little Red Ball Company, and Jubilations/ Celebrations. She can also often be seen performing with Alberta troupes – Three Left Feet and the Rocky Mountain Acrobats. Enjoy the show!
Boulder & Hench – Dylan O’Neal
Salutations one and all! Dylan hits the stage for his 2nd celebrations kids show. Following seven years working at Celebrations, he continues to enjoy bringing smiles and joy to the stage. Have a great time everyone!
